If you’ve been in the market for a new job, the city of Edmonton recently had an interesting job position open up.
Last year, a herd of about 170 goats were intermittently in Rundle Park, Edmonton, as a part of a pilot of the GoatWorks program. Their job was to have a feast on some pesky weeds, in order to rid the park of them.
The GoatWorks program will be up and running again this year. Only this time, the city has put the feelers out for someone to fill the position of Goat Coordinator. Yes, this is a legitimate job.
According to the job posting, the goat coordinator is a temporary full-time position for up to 11 months, and the lucky candidate could even see an hourly pay of up to $43!
You may have just found your dream job.
