We’ve Lost A TV Mom

David Letterman’s mother has passed away at home.


Dorothy Mengering was an Indianapolis church secretary who found unexpected fame as a correspondent on her son’s late-night TV show, she died yesterday at age 95.



The “Late Show with David Letterman” viewers warmed to her unassuming style when she served as a correspondent during the Winter Olympics in Norway, Japan and Salt Lake City, Utah.


She also Had her cook books “Cooking With Dave’s Mom” and she delivered Top 10 Lists from her Indiana kitchen, rest in peace Dorothy and thanks for the laughs.





Daviiid Llllettermannnn turns 70 today. His show ended 2 years ago on May 2015 and it looks like he hasn’t shaved since!
