The singing of the Canadian national anthem at Baseball’s All-Star Game is once again taking heat.
Calgary pop singer Jocelyn Alice sang O Canada last night in Miami and was widely criticized by baseball fans on social media after she seemed to giggle during her rendition … have a listen to the giggle:
She recovered and finished the anthem. TV cameras were focused on Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Justin Smoak when Alice made the laugh and he quickly glanced at the singer and gave a like W.T.F? look.
Maybe next year MLB should call up the Halifax Mooseheads own Peter Baylis to show ’em how to do it!
The American League beat the National League 2-1 in 10 innings off a Robinson Cano homer.
