Here’s some important info you may need to help plan your weekend!

Superstore, Sobeys, Walmart, Costco, & Pete’s Fine Foods.
All NSLC locations.
Mic Mac Mall, Halifax Shopping Centre, Scotia Square, Bedford Place Mall and Sunnyside Mall.
All banks in the city and in the province.
All Halifax library branches.
Most city run facilities will be closed Monday, September 3rd, BUT you should call the location to confirm the hours.
Canada Post mail delivery and collection won’t happen and most post offices are closed BUT call ahead and confirm as some private run stations will be open.
There’s NO solid waste, organics and recyclables collection on Monday, September 3rd, BUT those communities will have it collected Saturday, September 1st.

Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market (10AM-5PM) & Gateway Meat Market (8:30AM-6PM).
Garrison Brewing Co. (10AM-8PM), Bishop’s Cellar (10AM-10PM), Propeller Brewery on Gottingen St. (10AM-8PM) and Windmill Rd (12PM-8PM).
Halifax Transit bus and ferry services are open but operating on the holiday schedule.
Supervised swimming at municipal beaches will end at the end of September.
The 311 Call Centre (8AM-8PM).
Harvest Wines & Spirits Baker Drive in Dartmouth (12PM-8PM).
Moosehead Cold Beer Store (10AM-midnight).
Most restaurants but do call in advance to confirm.
