The solar eclipse when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth happens today.
For us here in Nova Scotia we’ll see it start around 2:42 this afternoon and will be at it at it’s peak at 3:53, it’ll totally end at 4:58. We’ll see about 50 percent of the total eclipse.
Oregon is the state hat will see the full effect when it will go dark for couple of minutes in the middle of the afternoon.
Traffic has been loopy heading to the state with accommodations booked solid for the past couple of years for this date. People from all over the world have gathered there.
