Cailin Hergott and Sylvie Kellington started the huge Go Fund Me campaign for the Humboldt Broncos with a small goal.
They first aimed for $5000.00 and changed up to $10,000.00, little did they think it would hit over 10,000,00.00!
Having two sons that played hockey growing up we wanted to do our part and last night we made a small donation after supper.
Over the coming days, various services will be held for those lost in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash a week ago today.
Thursday, the first was laid to rest as friends, family and the entire community said goodbye to Tyler Bieber, the team’s radio play-by-play announcer.
At the Robinson Residence we added a set of headphones as a tribute to Tyler to go with our Sticks for Humbolt.
As the Halifax Mooseheads Public Address Announcer, I have many close friends who are QMJHL play-by-play announcers, so this really hit home with me.
Here’s our Hot Country 1035 Broncos Tribute produced by our very own Lee Rodgers and voiced by our Hot Country station voice Rachel McGrath.
Included is my Public Address Announcer audio from the Moment of Silence for Humbolt at last Saturday’s Halifax Mooseheads game, with the Chis Stapleton song “Broken Halos.”
We are all #HumboldtStrong at Hot Country 1035.
