“What Makes You Country”? All that and more coming up on today’s #Skinny
You can get a look at what life is like on Luke Bryan’s Tennessee farm, as Robin Roberts travels to Music City for ABC’s ninth annual pre-CMA Awards special, which airs next month on ABC.
Living Every Day, follows the four-time Entertainer of the Year as he balances family life with the demands of a top-notch country career and a new gig as a judge on American Idol. Along the way, you’ll meet Luke’s wife Caroline, his sons Bo and Tatum, and his nephew Til in the documentary-style hour.
LUKE BRYAN’s new album “What Makes You Country” is coming out December 8th and that’s the same day as his 11th wedding anniversary. Yeah, it kind of slipped by as he and his team planned the release date. Guess who let it didn’t slip by? His wife. She will head to New York to hang with her hubby.
In other Luke Bryan news: He was named the “Songwriter-Artist of the Year” at the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame Gala on Monday. He said, quote, “This whole thing started with me being a songwriter that showed up every day to Music Row, that put in the time, that wrote three songs a day for this many years, and was in the trenches demo-ing them and trying to get them cut.”
SAM HUNT’s been rockin’ a bushy beard for a while now . . . and it’s not going anywhere either. The reason is because his wife Hannah Lee likes it. End of story.
There will be four collaborations at next month’s CMAs. We’re talking Kelsea Ballerini and Reba McEntire . . . Dierks Bentley with Rascal Flatts . . . Maren Morris and Niall Horan . . . and Brad Paisley with Kane Brown.
Garth Brooks, Kelsea Ballerini are slated for New Bluebird Cafe Movie…..A fundraising campaign for Bluebird: The Movie officially launched last week with a Facebook Live event at the club.
If it’s happening in the country music world….we had the #skinny, 8:40 am and 4:40pm
