Bob Seger turns 73 this weekend . . . and things have definitely
changed. These days, he’s finished with all his “night moves” by 7:30.
If you’re a singer and you’re getting married, people expect you to get up there and do a song, right? The pressure’s even stronger if it’s coming from the person you’re marrying. That’s what BRETT YOUNG is dealing with right now.
The wedding’s later this year, and his long time girlfriend has been throwing hints. He talked about it, saying, quote, “I recently got the feeling that she wants me to do at least one song.
“I think it will be really cheesy to do one of mine. So I’m trying to figure out what the cool, subtle thing to do is so that she gets the moment she’s looking for”.
There’s a similar thing happening with Brett’s father. He’s a pastor, but he doesn’t want to officiate. Quote, “He doesn’t want to do the wedding. He wants to be AT his son’s wedding.”
ERIC PASLAY, SARA EVANS, and TRENT HARMON were in Cincinnati the other day passing out instruments to children. It was on behalf of the CMA Foundation. Eric posted a clip on Twitter, saying, quote, “Inspiring to see schools and teachers that care so much for their students and music education.”
DAN + SHAY released a brand new song called “All To Myself”. It’ll be on their upcoming third album.
KELSEA BALLERINI Tweeted out that she’ll be performing on “Good Morning America’s” Summer Concert series on August 3rd.
