RCMP have charged the former finance director of the Coady International Institute at St. FX with fraud & theft. 53 year old James Marlow was fired in July, arrested in September and charges were laid on October 2nd. He’s been charged with theft & fraud over $5000.

The Dartmouth teenager accused of killing Chelsie Probert must wait until next year to learn his fate. Probert was stabbed on a path in north end Dartmouth in June of last year. The Crown describes her death as the result of a failed robbery attempt.

A United Express passenger jet was forced to land back in Halifax yesterday because of smoke in the cockpit. The flight to New Jersey was in the air less than 20 minutes when the pilot noticed the smoke. No injuries were reported.
