RCMP are apologizing for saying that a Lego block shaped THC product that was seized at an illegal cannabis store ‘could be a fatal dose for a child.’ They say the statement “included references and opinions that are outside of the scope of Nova Scotia RCMP.” The Timberlea store on St. Margaret’s Bay Road was raided back on Monday where RCMP seized $60,000 worth of cannabis product.

A Halifax man is facing 15 charges in a stolen vehicle investigation. RCMP obtained search warrants at 6 different residences in order to find 39 year old Nicholas Barker. He’s scheduled for court next week.

Point Pleasant Park is scheduled to have thousands of trees cut down this summer. The city is planning on cutting down or trimming 80,000 trees in a 10 hectare section. The plan is to remove trees that are already dead or dying to help return the site to its original Acadian forest roots.
