A 60 year old man from Hants County has died after his ATV rolled over in the Riverside Corner area yesterday morning. The man was riding the ATV alone when he became trapped underneath the vehicle. He died at the scene.


2 women had to be rushed to hospital after a car crash in East Uniacke Saturday afternoon. The 32 year old female driver from Hants County suffered life threatening injuries. No word yet on the cause of the crash.


Volunteers held a fire prevention information session on the weekend at a Halifax hotel. The event was presented in both English and Arabic and attracted lots of immigrant families. The session was held in memory of the 7 Barho children who died in a house fire in Spryfield last month.
