Hundreds of employees with the Nova Scotia Health Authority will be working from home today after a flood in their University Avenue building. With the -30 wind chill we had yesterday, a pipe on the roof that feeds the sprinkler system froze and burst, sending water throughout all 4 floors of the Centre for Clinical Research. No patients were affected by the flooding.

Police are investigating after a break in at a convenience store in Berwick on February 11th. 2 men broke into the store around 3AM by smashing the front door but were caught on security cameras. The men stole lottery tickets and cash before running off. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says that Compliments brand chicken nuggets have been recalled due to possible salmonella contamination. If you bought them you should throw them out or return it to the store for a refund. The possibly contaminated chicken nuggets came in a 1.5 kilogram package with a best before date of July 18th 2019.
