Two people had to be airlifted to hospital after a single vehicle crash yesterday morning near Kejimkujik National Park. The crash happened just after 8:00AM in Maitland Bridge when the vehicle left the road and overturned in a ditch. The 2 people are said to have serious injuries.

A 44 year old Dartmouth man accused of trying to cash in stolen lottery tickets in Enfield has been arrested. The man was seen on security footage at 2 businesses in the Sackville area that were robbed just days earlier. The suspect has been charged in relation to 6 break-ins and remains in custody until his court date today.

There were no injuries reported yesterday after a Halifax-bound Via Rail train from Montreal derailed in New Brunswick. Via Rail says that two cars on Train 14 derailed near Coal Branch around noon, but the cars stayed upright. Alternative transportation was given to the 94 passengers on board.
