Education Minister Zach Churchill is still saying he has never touched anyone from the legislative assembly in an aggressive way. The allegations are from 2 women who sat in cabinet during the first ever NDP government in Nova Scotia. Ramona Jennex & Denise Peterson-Rafuse allege the incidents took place between 4-6 years ago.
A man from West Chezzetcook has died after a 3 vehicle car crash in Dartmouth on Tuesday afternoon. The crash was reported around noon between Exit 14, the Waverley exit and Main Street. A woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries and another person was not injured.
Yesterday on Parliament Hill a member of Nova Scotia’s Millbrook First Nation criticized Prime Minister Justin Trudeau & his government for how they’re handling a controversial natural gas project. Hannah Martin’s concerns are about brine solution being pumped into the Schubenacadie River where her family live traditionally as Mi’kmaw people. Trudeau says his government will work with Mi’kmaq chiefs “to move forward on regulations in a way that addresses concerns.”
