$4.6 billion dollars will be spent on health care in Nova Scotia in the coming fiscal year by the provincial government. That’s $200 million more than last year. The money will help with crowded emergency rooms, limited doctors and burnt out health care workers.

The search for 29 year old Joshua Bentley in Kentville is still on. His pregnant girlfriend who is due this summer with their baby, Katrena Schofield, is pleading for anyone to come forward if they have any information on where he may be. Bentley was last seen on Saturday night leaving the Kings Arms Pub around 10:30 wearing a black and red flannel shirt and jeans.
The Halifax Port Authority is seeking feedback from the public on expansion options for cargo operations. One idea is moving the Halterm container facility by Point Pleasant Park to Dartmouth, which would cost $1.4 billion dollars. Officials say there is only one potential site in Dartmouth and the earliest year of completion would be 2030.
