3 people have died after their vehicle caught fire after crashing in Eastern Passage early Saturday morning. RCMP received a call around 1:30AM about a vehicle on fire off Cow Bay Road. The cause of the crash is unknown.

A 64 year old man has died after the dump truck he was driving became submerged in the Partridge River in East Preston. RCMP responded to the call just after 5:00PM Saturday. Officials removed the man from the truck and took him to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

2 men have been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a man in Eskasoni. RCMP were called to a residence last Thursday around midnight, where they found an unresponsive 33 year old man with serious injuries. 37 year old Roger Prosper and 29 year old Kirk Gould are scheduled for court.

A cruise ship has finally docked safely in Molde harbor, in western Norway, after a very scary day of being stranded at sea in a storm. Rescue teams airlifted 479 people from the ship one or two at a time after it was left adrift on Saturday with over 1300 passengers and crew on board, including 15 Canadians. No one died but some minor injuries were reported.
