The man accused of killing 2 police officers & 2 civilians in a shooting in Fredericton in August says he is innocent. 48 year old Matthew Raymond interrupted his court proceedings yesterday to claim his temporary insanity. He’s back in court next Monday.

A Tatamagouche man has died in a dirt bike crash on a private track in Pictou County. The 48 year old rider failed to make a jump at the recreational motocross track near Black River Road in Meadowville. RCMP are continuing to investigate the incident.

New Brunswick residents want an apology from officials who allowed a “straight pride” flag to be raised in Chipman. The flag was taken down within a matter of hours after the LBGTQ community raised their concerns. The flag was replaced with a Canada flag.
