New Brunswick’s election got a little hectic yesterday. The PC’s & the Liberals hope to form government after the first minority legislature in almost 100 years. It came down to the final poll in the final riding when the PC’s managed to receive a minority government with 22 seats but the Liberals got 21, in a legislature where 25 is required for a majority. The Tories claimed victory but both parties plan to visit their Lieutenant Governor today.


The provincial government is asking you to start sharing the road with ATV’s. Beginning next week ATVs will have legal access to 14 kilometres of provincial roads, including areas in Porters Lake, Weymouth & Sherbrooke. The access does not extend to the 100 series highways.


Researchers looking for a possible great white shark mating site near Nova Scotia have tagged their first shark in Canadian waters. ‘Nova’ the male shark has his own twitter account so you can track him. The researchers are trying to shed more light on sharks migratory patterns.
