A Halifax man has been charged with sex offences that happened between 1988 & 1991 in Halifax, Dartmouth & East Petpeswick. Police have received multiple complaints this year against 53 year old Donald Paul Henderson. He’s scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court in November.

An arbitrator has released a ruling in a long standing pay equity dispute at Canada Post that gives some mail carriers a big pay increase. Rural & suburban postal workers could see a 25% hike in their wages, plus increases in other benefits. The ruling between Canada Post & the Canadian Union of Postal Workers came yesterday after the 2 sides failed to reach an agreement on their own.

6 people in the Valley are facing fraud charges related to 26 missing vehicles worth $1.3 million. 4 men & 2 women face charges of fraud over $5000, laundering proceeds of crime & possession of proceeds of crime. The 16 month investigation started when the owner of a car dealership in New Minas could not account for the 26 vehicles.
