At least 49 people have been killed and even more injured after gunmen opened fire in 2 mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, making it the largest mass shooting in the country’s history. New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, is calling the incident a terrorist attack. Police say 4 people have been taken into custody, including 3 men and 1 woman.

A Dartmouth urologist who billed MSI for surgery that never actually happened has been fined & suspended for a month. Dr. Samuel Chun has had 2 patients make complaints against him. In one case, Chun told a patient that he did perform surgery on him without actually doing it, which led to a week long delay in diagnosing the man with cancer.

Almost 100 students from 3 different high schools in Nova Scotia will have the chance to get free community college tuition & a guaranteed job interview. The program is supported by the provincial government, NSCC & IBM. Premier Stephen McNeil made the announcement about the ‘Technology Advantage Program’ yesterday in Halifax.
