A woman has died & 2 people are injured after a head on crash on Highway 103 in Upper Tantallon yesterday morning. The woman was seriously hurt & was taken to hospital by paramedics where she later died. No other details have been released.


Saudi Arabian university students living in Halifax are devastated after they’ve been ordered to leave Canada. Over 8300 Saudi students enrolled at Canadian Universities have been told to withdraw from school following a foreign policy dispute between Ottawa & Riyadh. Some of the Saudi Arabian students studying in Halifax have been ordered to leave as soon as August 31st.


Canada Post says mail delivery in parts of the Maritimes is being disrupted by striking contract drivers. About 20 workers launched an information picket yesterday at the Sydney mail sorting plant. One of the drivers says he started 16 years ago at $10 an hour and now only makes $14.30 an hour & has no benefits.
