Nova Scotia’s cannabis retailer is being accused of violating federal regulations by ‘glamourizing’ marijuana. The NSLC has divided their cannabis products into 4 categories: relax, unwind, centre & enhance. One local psychologist says the signage promotes cannabis to be attractive & appealing, which contradicts the Cannabis Act’s section on promotion.


A man & a woman are facing charges after police obtained a warrant for a drug search yesterday in Dartmouth. Investigators performed the search at the ‘Higher Living Wellness Centre’ at 219A Wyse Road. The two 36 year old employees were arrested for the purpose of trafficking & are scheduled for court at a later date.


Nova Scotia Power says there is still a significant amount of work to be done in order to clean up an oil leak in the harbour at Tufts Cove. Dozens of employees have been working non-stop to clean the spill that leaked last Thursday afternoon. The leak was caused by a tiny hole in a pipe, which carries oil from a storage tank to the power station.
