A woman and a 3 year old child were injured when a man tried to stab them in Antigonish yesterday morning. The woman called police from a neighbour’s home to tell them the man had tried to stab them & was still inside the residence. The 41 year old man is facing 2 charges of attempted murder.


3 members of the Bacchus Motorcycle Club are facing charges after harassing a man who tried to bring a chapter of the Montreal based Club to the province. Police say Bacchus is a criminal organization & that the men committed the crimes to benefit their gang. The group, which has links to the Hells Angels, is the largest motorcycle gang in the province.


Some iconic Nova Scotia tourism sites are receiving $6 million for upgrades. Peggys Cove is receiving the largest amount of funding with $2 million. The Halifax waterfront will see a $1.5 million upgrade and Cape Breton’s stunning Cabot Trail is getting $1 million.
