Israeli police have arrested 11 suspects in Tel Aviv after authorities in Halifax found 5 kilograms of cocaine in a container headed for the Middle East. Canadian Border officers found the cocaine in small bags hidden among large bags of vegetable charcoal at the Port of Halifax back in November. Officers found the drugs during an extensive search.


Police are searching for suspects after a man from Head of Chezzetcook was shot in the stomach when 3 masked men entered his home last Thursday. The 3 men wearing masks entered the home on Mary Etta Drive without permission around 3:30PM. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or crime stoppers.


A Halifax Police constable has been found guilty of voyeurism, trespassing at night and breach of trust for peeping into the windows of a Bedford motel in 2017. 44 year old George Farmer admitted to looking into the windows at the Esquire Motel, but his lawyer argued he was investigating possible drug activity & prostitution. Farmer will be sentenced in April.
