RCMP are searching for a vehicle after a young woman was dragged into a car in Cole Harbour last night. It happened around 10PM on Flying Cloud Drive. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

2 people have died in a house fire in Westville, near New Glasgow. Fire crews were called to a residence on South Main Street just after midnight Sunday. No other details have been released.

A Nova Scotia man with Down syndrome has been named the town crier for Olde Town of Halifax, Districts 7 & 8. Will Brewer learned the news Sunday at a Canada Day pancake breakfast. He is the 1st person with Down syndrome to become a town crier in Canada.
