A man from Port Hastings has died after a motorcycle accident on Sunday on Highway 104 near Pictou County. The 52 year old man died at the scene & a 35 year old female passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.

A 19 year old man with an outstanding warrant has been arrested after a multi-car crash in Halifax on Sunday. He was noticed by police when he ran a stop sign and began speeding on Gottigen Street. Following the accident he ran off but was found and arrested.

David MacLennan has won his 5th Blue Nose Marathon. The 54 year old Scotsburn resident was first to cross the finish line in the 15th annual Blue Nose Marathon in Halifax, with a time of 2:50:10. MacLennan says the wet weather didn’t bother him because it kept his body temperature cool.
