Police say that former MLA Trevor Zinck was never missing. On Friday a statement was released about Zinck not being seen since last month in Dartmouth. Police released a second statement saying he had been located and that there was no cause for concern.


A non-consumption order has been lifted at the NSCC Marconi campus in Cape Breton. This comes after the entrance to the college’s water tower and water treatment facilities were vandalized last week. The campus will resume classes today.


15 people were killed when a bus carrying a junior ice hockey team collided with a tractor trailer in Saskatchewan on Friday night. The Humboldt Broncos were on their way to a game against the Nipawin Hawks when the crash occurred at about 5:00PM. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his 11 year old son Xavier were among the thousands of people who attended a vigil for the victims in the small town of Humboldt last night.
