A Dartmouth man with a long criminal record over the past 29 years involving sexual assaults of children is facing more charges. 50 year old Donald Bartlett has been charged with 24 counts of sexual assaults that happened between 1986 & 1992 in Dartmouth. Last August, Halifax police issued a public warning that Bartlett was moving to the Halifax area after being released from prison.

A woman from Guysborough has finally collected the last of her chase the ace winnings that she was forced to split with her nephew because she wrote both of their names on the winning ticket. Barbara Reddick and her nephew, Tyrone MacInnis, went to court over the $1.2 million grand prize draw in Margaree Forks in July. Reddick says she’ll never put anyone else’s name on a lottery ticket again.
