RCMP have arrested a teenager after racist graffiti showed up at a school in Nova Scotia. Last week the student painted graffiti on a school bus, a school and a sign near the East Antigonish Education Centre in Monastery. A 17 year old male has been charged with 4 counts of mischief.

The man who was the target of an elaborate police undercover operation is telling his side of the story to officers for the second time. 23 year old John Buckley was charged with first-degree murder in the death of his mother Victoria Brauns-Buckley in 2012. She was found dead in the home she shared with her son in Chester Basin.

With cannabis soon becoming legal, some Nova Scotians will have to drive a long way to get it. Recreational pot will be sold through only 9 NSLC locations once legalization takes effect. Out of those 9 locations, Halifax will house 2 and Dartmouth will have one.
