A former Nova Scotia paramedic who sexually assaulted 3 women who were patients in his care will have to serve more time in prison for his offences. James Keats was initially sentenced to 4 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 71 year old woman in her Annapolis Valley home. Keats tried to appeal all 3 of his convictions however the court rejected that.

RCMP are investigating after racist graffiti was found on a bus and sign near the East Antigonish Education Centre last night in Monasterry. The graffiti was discovered by a Grade 10 student at the school who saw the graffiti and took photos to show her teacher. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Halifax will soon have more bus lanes & bicycle lanes. Council unanimously voted yesterday afternoon to put a bus lane on Gottingen Street. The bus lane will be in effect during peak times on weekdays from 7AM-9AM & and 3PM-6PM.
