Cole Harbour residents are being warned after 3 homes in Colby Village were broken into overnight Friday & Saturday. Various items were stolen from the homes including keys, pieces of I.D., shoes & food. Police are reminding residents to lock their doors and to report any suspicious activity.

Premier Stephen McNeil is willing to support a stadium in Halifax depending on where the funding comes from. Halifax regional council is expected to receive a proposal today from Maritime Football Limited, the group trying to bring a CFL team to the city. The proposal includes a plan for a 24,000 seat stadium to be built in Shannon Park in Dartmouth that could cost up to $190 million.

A design firm from NYC hired to review the redevelopment plans for the Cogswell interchange took place in Halifax yesterday. The street grid has already been approved but details of the parks, bike lanes and transit hub are still being worked on. The project could take up to a decade to complete.
