Pipe bombs were sent to several prominent critics of President Donald Trump yesterday. The targets included former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Eric Holder and former CIA Director John Brennan. No one was injured.


Unionized crane and heavy equipment operators in Nova Scotia are on strike after the latest round of contract negotiations failed. The strike, which affects about 100 workers, began last night at midnight. The strike could last up to 21 days.


A transport truck crashed into a home in Kings County yesterday after its driver tried to avoid a collision with another vehicle and lost control. The truck crashed through the front part of the house, causing extensive damage. No one was home at the time.
