A 22 year old man from Timberlea has been arrested for drunk driving early yesterday morning after a Jeep was found flipped over in a ditch along Highway 103. Inside the vehicle was a 2 year old girl who was uninjured. The man is scheduled for court at a later date.

Mi’kmaq Grand Chief Ben Syllaboy, of Waycobah First Nation in Cape Breton, has died. He died peacefully of natural causes yesterday afternoon at Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was 76.
