The former CEO of the IWK has made the list of Canada’s Most Powerful Women. The organization is dedicated to the advancement and recognition of women in management. They have confirmed that Tracy Kitch made the list before she was being investigated for charging personal expenses to the IWK.


Christopher Garnier’s trial returned to Nova Scotia Supreme Court yesterday. He’s charged for second degree murder and interfering with human remains in the September 2015 death of Catherine Campbell. The crown prosecutor told the jury that Garnier lost control the night Campbell died by striking her on the head & strangling her to death.


Nova Scotian’s on a wait list for a family doctor or nurse practitioner will soon be getting a call to confirm their contact information. The phone calls are part of the process to check information so that family practices can contact people when they are accepting new patients. The automated phone calls will start next Tuesday and the caller ID will show up as an ‘all zero’s’ phone number.
