A massive fire that tore through several businesses in downtown Bridgewater has been deemed suspicious. The fire started Sunday night on King Street and it took firefighters several hours to put it out. The buildings will be demolished today.

Police are looking for a woman behind a string of gas and dash incidents around the city since August. In each incident the woman was driving a blue Ford Escape with a stolen licence plate that reads: FDA 175. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

A Halifax based member of the Royal Canadian Navy has been charged with sexual assault. Darryl Ryan faces charges for 2 incidents that took place at CFB Borden, Ontario in September 2016. A court date has not been scheduled yet.
