A woman who was diagnosed with a flesh-eating disease 4 days after giving birth is taking legal action against the IWK. Lindsey Hubley is now a quadruple amputee, has undergone a hysterectomy and has spent the first 7 months of her son’s life in hospital. Lawyer Ray Wagner says that the negligence of 5 doctors and the hospital caused or contributed to the health issues suffered by Hubley.

Convicted killer William Sandeson will have to wait a long time before he can argue his case again in court. Sandeson is appealing his first-degree murder conviction for killing Taylor Samson, who’s body has never been found. The case is scheduled to return to court August 1st 2018.

A man who drove into the back of a truck killing 2 of his passengers and injuring another, has been granted bail. 26 year old Brian MacDonald has been charged after the crash in Lower Sackville on October 2nd. A 42 year old Lower Sackville man & a 48 year old man from PEI died at the scene.
