Former IWK Health Centre CEO Tracy Kitch has repaid outstanding personal expenses that she charged to the Halifax children’s hospital. The payment comes just 2 days after the hospital said it would pursue legal action against her to get the money. RCMP have made 11 arrests relating to trafficking of cocaine and prescription pills. The charges are the result of a 3 month long investigation in Lunenburg County. 27 year old Jacob Earl of Hacketts Cove, 58 year old Greg Levy of New Ross, and Kandace Regan of Bridgewater are just 3 of the 11 people that have been arrested.

Police have arrested a Cape Breton man after 5 hours of negotiating with him to get him to come out of his home. Police say they were concerned for his well being. The 39 year old man was taken from his home on the South Bar Highway to Cape Breton Regional Hospital for assessment.
