Police are searching for a suspect wanted for an armed robbery in Dartmouth. On September 7th police responded to the Kabayan Food Mart on Wyse Road. A man went behind the counter with a knife, threatened the clerk before taking off with the cash register. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

Construction delays for Halifax’s new Convention Centre may be at an end. The developer behind the major downtown Nova Centre project says the Convention Centre is on track to open this December. It was originally supposed to be completed by January 2016, but that changed 3 more times, however December is looking like the final answer.

New data from Halifax Transit shows exactly which bus routes will pick you up on time. Halifax’s overall performance showed that buses are on time 77% of the time. Route 20 (Herring Cove) is the most unlikely bus to be on time, whereas Route 56 (Dartmouth Crossing) is the bus most likely to pick you up on time.
