A man in his 50’s was found dead yesterday morning in his apartment in Cape Breton. The apartment is located in downtown Sydney on Prince Street. Police say the death is suspicious and are treating it as a homicide.

Dalhousie University is banning alcohol from its residences during orientation week this year. Dalhousie Student Union’s vice president Cory Larsen says the main goal is to practice alcohol harm reduction programming. Orientation week at Dalhousie begins on Saturday.

A man is facing charges after he left his toddler alone crying in a hot car. On Augut 18th police were called to a parkade on University Avenue around 3:30PM. The father, a 44 year old man from Bedford was arrested and is due in court in October.
