A van sped down a sidewalk yesterday in Barcelona, Spain swerving from side to side as it plowed into tourists and residents. Authorities say 13 people were killed and 100 injured, 15 of them seriously, in what’s being called a terror attack. 5 Terrorists have been killed by police.

 

RCMP have arrested two men from Indian Brook after a truck crashed into police cruisers and drove away this week.

Police were alerted to a possible impaired driver in Hardwood Lands.

They say the driver of a Ford F-150 hit two police vehicles and caused considerable damage before fleeing the scene. The investigation continues.

 

And Tourism numbers are up across the board in Nova Scotia, especially in Cape Breton where Parks Canada is enjoying its largest increase ever at its sites.

 

23,000 more visitors came to the province in June compared to the same month last year. Parks Canada says the low Canadian dollar may have more Canadians staying closer to home.
