Police are warning the public about a high risk sex offender. 57 year old Chris Watts recently moved to Halifax after completing a sentence in British Columbia for manslaughter, sexual interference and sexual assault. He’s a white male with brown hair, brown eyes, six feet tall and weighs 160 pounds.

Police are looking for the owner of a sum of money found at a gas station in Dartmouth. On Monday afternoon a woman was at the Esso at the intersection of Wyse Road and Nantucket Avenue when she found a sum of money outside the gas station. Anyone with information about this is asked to contact Police.

After 2 major thefts within 2 months at a free-range animal farm in Nova Scotia a farm owner is hoping bacon can help solve the crime. Melvin Burns owns Moo Nay Farms in Cooks Brook and is offering a reward of 2 kilograms of bacon for tips on who recently took about $1000 worth of his power tools. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
