A Nova Scotian man has died after his car went into a lake on the weekend. The 19 year old man from Saulnierville drove off the road and into a lake near Meteghan on Sunday morning. No word yet on the cause of the crash.

A New Brunswick man is facing charges after he sexually assaulted a woman in Halifax on the weekend. Around 3:00AM yesterday a woman noticed she was being followed by a man on Spring Garden Road. When she turned around to confront him, he assaulted her. She screamed causing him to run off. Police found the 29 year old man and he is scheduled for court this morning.

Bay Ferries Limited has cancelled 2 more ferry crossings between Yarmouth and Portland this week. This afternoons sail at 2:30 has been cancelled, so has the 8:30 sail on Thursday morning. The CAT will be out of service due to repair work on one of its main engines.
