Police are investigating after a man showed up on their doorstep with stab wounds early yesterday morning. The 56 year old man had been walking by Gottingen & Cogswell streets when 2 men stole his wallet and stabbed him. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 40 year old Dartmouth woman is facing a charge of arson after a suspicious house fire on Saturday. Fire crews were called to a bungalow on Pleasant Street in Dartmouth around 6:00PM. No one was injured, but at least 3 people have been displaced due to the fire.

Police are looking for a man who assaulted a woman in a Halifax pizza shop earlier this month. On July 2nd around 1:30AM police responded to Randy’s Pizza on Agricola Street. A 35 year old woman was found at the scene with head and face injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
