A house divided into multi-unit apartments in the west-end of Halifax went up in flames last night. The house was located near the intersection at Quinpool Road and Connaught Avenue. Everyone and their pets managed to escape safely. The cause of the fire is not clear yet however it is thought to have been a propane tank exploding.

RCMP have found another body in a burned-out house in the Clam Harbour area. The first body found was a woman’s, and yesterday officials found the body of a man. Police have not released the identity of the victims.

A 26 year old Lower Sackville man has been charged twice in 6 weeks with driving while impaired by drugs. Police say the first time he backed into a pole and the second time he was spotted by officers yelling at a group of women. The man remains in custody and is scheduled for court this morning.
