No arrests yet after a shooting in Halifax. Police got a report of gunfire around Uniacke and Brunswick streets around 5:30 Saturday evening. Ten minutes later someone who had been shot arrived at the QEII. His injuries were not life threatening as police continue their investigation.

Close to 20 people have been forced from their homes after a major fire in Halifax. The fire was at a 12 unit, 3 storey apartment building at 2675 Windsor Street around 8:00PM Saturday. No one was injured and no word yet on the cause.

Police are asking for the public’s help solving a homicide that happened last week in Dartmouth. 18 year old Chelsie Probert was found in medical distress on a walking path near Farrell Street in Dartmouth around 10:00PM June 6th. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
