RCMP are looking for a witness who was driving between Murchyville and Middle Musquodoboit on Saturday evening. This witness may have seen an assault of a female driver by her male passenger. The woman was driving a red Mazda and says she saw an oncoming vehicle quickly stop after passing her car.


Police are investigating the suspicious death of an 18 year old woman in Dartmouth last night. Police responded to a medical distress call around 10:00PM about a woman on a path near Farrell Street Park. She was rushed to hospital where she later died.


24 year old William Sandeson chose not to testify at his own first degree murder trial yesterday. Sandeson says he is relying upon his right to silence at this time. However Sandeson’s ex-girlfriend, Sonja Gashus, testified and says that on the night Taylor Samson went missing Sandeson texted her to tell her not to come over to his apartment.
