A driver has been fined after leaving 2 dogs in a hot car yesterday. A pedestrian spotted the dogs in distress in the car on Clyde Street in downtown Halifax. Police gave the driver 3 tickets: two valued just under $700 each (one for each dog) and one $250 ticket for owning an unlicensed dog.

A motorcycle accident sent one man to hopsital with serious injuries on Wednesday. The crash happened around 5:30PM in Waverly when a 20 year old Lower Sackville man lost control of his bike, went off the road and crashed into a tree. Police are investigating into the cause of the crash.

Former Dartmouth South PC candidate Jad Crnogorac isn’t giving up. She says the Tories have a double standard in how they treat their female candidates. Jad’s hope now is to sit as an Independent in the legislature.
