A removed Tory candidate is looking to continue her bid for public office. Jad Crnorgorac the candidate for Dartmouth South was dropped by the PC party due to inappropriate tweets she posted. Jad says she will run as an independent and is waiting to hear back from Elections Nova Scotia on the process.


A 42 year old man from Hammonds Plains has died after a collision yesterday morning in Bedford. A motorcycle and a pickup truck collided on Rocky Lake Drive around 10:00AM. The driver of the truck was not injured. The road was closed for more than 6 hours.


Yesterday the jury at William Sandeson’s first degree murder trial heard about officers extensive ground search on his family farm in Lower Truro. Police say they sifted through cow manure and even drained a pond but found nothing. Sandeson is accused of killing 22 year old Taylor Samson, who’s body has still not been found.
