A 50 year old man has died in an ATV crash. The accident happened in Tatamagouche around 8:30 Saturday night. Police believe the man was driving alone at the time of the crash.


Premier Stephen McNeil says if re-elected he’ll launch a review of school board administration to look for savings. He wants to make sure schools have appropriate class sizes, provide universal pre-primary care and hire 100 new teachers. The Liberals also want to freeze school closures while reviewing if board decisions are in line with the province’s commitments to classroom conditions.


Two people are facing drug charges in a major grow-op bust after police searched 22 acres of land in Nova Scotia with ATV’s, dogs and a drone. Last Wednesday officers searched a property in Martin’s River near Lunenburg and found over 100 pounds of marijuana. 45 year old Johnathan Hatt and 46 year old Mary Hatt were both arrested.
