Six Nova Scotia boys that convinced more than 20 girls into sharing intimate images of themselves are headed back to court. The boys used online Dropbox accounts to share the images with each other. The teenagers, who are all from the Bridgewater area, will be sentenced in court in July.
The NDP is proposing a tax hike for the wealthiest people in the province. This would affect 3700 highest income earners in Nova Scotia and would generate about $20 million a year. Gary Burrill says the additional revenue would go toward education, health care, and his plan of raising minimum wage to $15 an hour.
The Liberal election campaign communications director has resigned. Kyley Harris was given a conditional discharge for an assault on a woman 3 years ago. Premier Stephen McNeil let Harris go at the time, then rehired him as a Liberal caucus researcher and has been with the party ever since, until now.
