2 people have serious injuries after a head on collision on a Nova Scotia highway. Around 8:30 Saturday morning, a car lost control on the 104 by Barneys River, crossing the centre line into the path of an oncoming pickup truck. A man and woman were taken to hospital in Halifax.


According to polling numbers the Liberal party is in the lead as we head toward the May 30th election. The poll of more than 1000 Nova Scotians shows 41% of decided & leaning voters would cast their ballot for the Liberals. The PC’s have 32% support, and the NDP follow closely with 25%.


Last Thursday police searched 2 cars in a parking lot in the area of the Bedford Highway & Flamingo Drive. They found guns, drugs and money inside the vehicles, went back to the drivers residence and found more of the same. 5 men have been arrested, including 54 old Anthony Budgell, 47 year old Dean Rogers & 3 other men who’s names have not yet been released.
